The board won't be great (brand name computers motherboards are always cheap) so it's not going to perform any miracles for you, but it should do Light - Medium gaming without exploding. I wouldn't go crazy with it myself, a SSD, 8/16GB of RAM, and a GPU, should be able to do all of that for much less than your listed budget, at $1400 I'd be building a gaming rig though. I'd think most GPU's will fit, but knowing the measurement will make that a lot easier. Hard to say for sure, but you can always measure from the rear panel to the front bracket to see how much space you have, we can shop for cards based on that measurement. With an i5 and a SSD, keep the HDD as storage, bump it up to 8gb or 16gb of RAM, and it LOOKS like it will fit a normal sized GPU as well. I was assuming based on the name (Micro Tower) that it'd be a small form factor PSU, which you'd be pretty SOL on, but that one looks to be a standard sized PSU so any other standard sized PSU will fit.
